it is located to 11 km from Vicuna and to 80 km from The La Serena.

The new Observatory Of The Pangue is located in a hill of the interior of Elqui’s Valley, to 1500 m of height, and 17 km to the south of the city of Vicuna, out-standing mas is the quality of the local sky, which ensues from a combination between (among) absence of light pollution and local favorable climatology, allows to estimate comfortably the most specific zones of the still exclusive Austral Sky.

Our tour began with chat of introduction to the astronomy and later 1 1/2 approximate hours of observation with telescopes of high resolution, directed by expert guides, then we will enjoy a Coffee Break.
